The Albin Family

This morning was another treat. I had the privilege of shooting my colleague and her family, a family that just grew by two feet in November. Sadly, they have not been able to get any pictures taken of their new baby girl, Lucy, or of the family since she was born. Someone has always been sick but not today! Everyone was healthy and happy. It took Lily a little while to warm up (you'll see what I mean below) but it still made for some super cute pictures. And Little Lucy Lou (a nickname that will forever stick) she was a doll and absolutely adores her older sister. She doesn't take her eyes off of Lily for one second and the sweetness that these two girls share just melts my heart. Here's your sneak peek Mom and Dad, more to come in a little while. 

3 Blue-eyed Boys & Their Mommy

What a treat this morning was. I got to shoot three little boys, who all just happen to be having birthdays, and their mommy. But shhh, its a little surprise for their Daddy. The two littlest ones are about the same age as my kiddos so I knew a little of what to expect but Isaac (celebrating his 3rd birthday) certainly kept ALL of us on our toes. If we asked him to smile, NOPE, he wasn't going to do it. If we asked him NOT to smile and NOT too laugh, he smiled and laughed and laughed and laughed. He was a hoot. After we got the first shots out of the way we threw on their birthday shirts and their SUPERHERO capes. All were handmade by their mother-how talented is she! I love that each of their shirts has a different character and their age on it. Word is that there will be a pajama birthday party and their shirts just happen to match their pants too. Miss Brooke-The Winner.

Meet Brooke. She just turned SIX and her mommy was the winner of our fan giveaway that we had for hitting 134 fans on Facebook-Woot, Woot. Brooke's mom and I graduated from high school together and I spent many weekends growing up on their family farm. Instead of heading out to that very same farm, Brooke came to KC to visit her favorite Aunt Lindsey (probably her favorite person too) and they met me out this afternoon at a local park. Brooke picked out her whole outfit and it complemented her blue eyes perfectly. She even had her hair done by her Aunt Lindsey and she was pretty excited about that. She was a tad shy in the beginning but by the time we were done, I had a new buddy. Thanks for sharing your day with me, it was so great to see you all!

36 Weeks and Counting.

Little Mr. Wyatt is already one very lucky boy and he isn't even here just yet! His mommy came to see us yesterday to document this very special point in their lives. In just a few short weeks their lives will change drastically, all for better and we are patiently awaiting the news…

Wyatt's mommy was such a trooper and a great sport through it all. And can I just add-how photogenic is she?!?! Gorgeous and 36 weeks pregnant! Check out her totally awesome boots, she wore these the night of her wedding and it is only fitting they were part of this shoot too! Here is a little sneak peek, more to come a little later!

From 67 to 149!

Amazing, OBP went from 67 fans last Sunday to 149 fans as of 2 minutes ago. Little Miss Kiley

I love babies--Especially sweet little baby girls who are perfect angels. This little one wasn't only the perfect baby to shoot, she also happened to be filled to the brim with cuteness. Win, Win. Thanks Mom for coming and hanging out with us this weekend. Can't wait to watch Little Miss Kiley grow over the years to come. Go Tigers. MIZ-ZOU! (That's for you Dad!)
