The Pickens Family

There seems to be one consistent theme with our shoots lately-FRIGID COLD. This evening was no exception and this family not only came to play they were troopers. I mean who takes off their socks and shoes in 40 degree weather that feels like 15 degrees. This family, thats who. So I may have had a little leg up on what we were going for on this shoot since this just happens to be my boss and her family and we were sending pictures back and forth the last few days. And I think its safe to say that we got the shots. How adorable are these kiddos?

Its The B Family Again!

Little Miss Sophie just turned one and it was time to get a new family picture. It was barely 34 outside but it was sunny and the wind was still so we had that going for us. My the end our fingers were frozen and Sophie's nose was as bright as Rudolph's. What troopers. Its pretty special that I not only get to watch Miss Sophie grow up but I also get to document some of it. And just like most toddlers, it isn't always the easiest to capture someone that is constantly wanting to explore and always on the move but we did our best.
